Brandon West grew up in Marlborough, Massachusetts where he played basketball at Assabet Valley High School before moving onto the American School in Lansing, Illinois. After finishing school, he spent some time in New York.  Brandon then returned to Massachusetts in 2017 and began player development training, along with officiating. He also began coaching AAU basketball with longtime friend Timmance Mckinney with United Elite Basketball and Undivided Basketball. It was during this time that he also began coaching at Beaver Country Day School, which included an Undefeated EIL Championship season in 2020. Brandon currently coaches varsity basketball at Belmont Hill in addition to working with different levels of USA basketball. In the summer, Brandon manages Marcus Smart’s team YGC in the annual TBT tournament on ESPN, as well as working with his YGC Global brand. Brandon works with NBA, European, college, and elite high school basketball players on many facets of the game.
